bought this along with 64030 cable lock. Assembly is required but it is a pretty simple product to assemble. Tilting bike mounting points make it very easy to mount bikes. There are 3 positions for the lockdown plate allowing for different sized bicycle top tubes. The rack is very sturdy and feels very secure even with trailer attached. Ball requires a smaller diameter threaded bolt to attach so keep this in mind when ordering. Out trailer has a leveling jack that is in the way so the 4th bike must be installed upside down (wheels facing the sky) to clear it. If the bike had a smaller bottom tube, I'm sure it could be mounted to that to allow for the additional clearance. Regardless, this is a great rack that allows for the towing of a trailer. After talking with my neighbour who had a similar rack without individual bike mounts. I'm glad we went with this rack. HitchWarehouse.com was awesome to deal with. |
