*Standard 2-5/16" gooseneck hitch balls
-Short-bed trucks that need more clearance between truck and trailer when towing
-Measurement from bottom of the king-pin plate to top of the hitch ball when trailer and truck are level: 11-3/4" (when adapter is collapsed) to 14-3/4" (when adapter is extended)
-Required clearance between the overhang of the trailer and the top of the side rails of your truck for safe operation: 5" or 6"
-Trailers with standard or extended pin box
Extended pin boxes longer than 30" measured diagonally may need additional reinforcing gussets added to the pin box
