1997 Ford F-150 models with Air Bag Overloads are NOT compatible.
The B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch is a heavy-duty, under-bed gooseneck hitch designed specifically for the listed Ford trucks. The hitch installs beneath the truck bed with a 4" hole through the bed to accommodate the removable 2-5/16" gooseneck ball.
When the hitch is not needed, simply release the locking handle, remove the ball, turn it over and drop it back into the hitch. The ball stores below the bed, leaving the truck bed clear and usable.
